Parahaka Feather

This week for reading we had to do a feather with  some words in it and if you look at my feather that  have put at the bottom of the post you will see some words that have to do with parhaka and we had to use word art beacuse we do not want to use text boxes beacuse lots of our class is going to intermediet next year and I do not want to use at intermediate.

I found it easy to put it on my blog beacuse I have been doing blogging for 2 and a half years now.

I found it hard to read the word that we had to add to the feather because they were really hard to read.

Next time I will add some different words beacuse I do not ant them to be the same.

Pre-Reading pediction

This week for reading we have been learning to infer infer ing means that the clue is in the storey but the answer is not in the storey and the book that we have been reading is deep ark 6. we had to write on the piece of paper what we think about the cover wha we think about the blurb and what we think of the title so would you please go and read it bolow.

 I found  it easy to put it on my blog because I have been doing it for 2 years now.

I found it hard to think about what was going to happen in the book beacuse there were so many reasons I was thinking about.

Next time I will change the writing because I don't want it to be the same.

Social Justice Week

 Today for reading we had to do a social justice week poster with our group and as a group we had to talk as a group we had to put down our thoughts on why  we think New zealanders treat each other fairly and we have been doing it for 2 days and If you keep a look on my log you will find a no girls allowed on my to play rugby on my blog.

I found it easy to put it on my blog beacuse I have been blogging for 2 and a half years.

I found it hard to write concentrate beacuse my group and I were talking to much and if we did not talk we would of finished in 1 day.

Next time I will not seat with my friends beacuse I am not getting my work finished.

Beatitudes poster

This week we had to make a beatitude poster for reading and the teacher had put a link on our group reading sight so we had to read the beatitudes and then write in the the poster. Luke and I have been working and we have not finished beacuse we have been talking and we were adding silly images and we were laughing to much. Iv you look at each slide there will be a beatitude and an image to go with that beatitude. 

We were learning to identify the characters and/or author’s point of view.

I found it hard to find an image beacuse I didn't know what to search to get the right image.

I found it easy to remember  the beatitude beacuse I could just go and ctrl-c the beatitude and go to the slide than do ctrl-v it.

Next time I would like to work with not my friends beacuse I am not getting my work done.

Coral Reef

 Today we had a task to make a slide about the coral reef and w have to talk to people about how to stop the coral reefs from dying will you please go and read my slides beacuse it will tell you lot of facts about the coral reefs and what is eating them and if you go and read my slides maybe you could help from stopping the coral reef from dying and maybe make the coral reef came bake to live so will you please read my slides and you could help maybe just a little bit. 

I found it easy to write the facts on my slides beacuse I have written the facts on my piece of paper and then just put it on my slides.

I found it hard to make the background perfect beacuse some of them where to dark and some wheir to light some were even really perfect.

Next time I will use different background to make it easier to read.

Escape Room

 Today we had a task we had to do which was escape the room that she had made and you had to go to each room without getting touched by the creatures that were lurking around in each of the rooms. In some of the rooms there were only a few creatures and in some of the other rooms there were about 3 or 4 creatures but my favorite character that she had added was the wolf's beacuse I like how she added a long howl instead of just nothing. She has also done it to every other animal which makes it more exciting  I would like to try and make an escape room of my own as i think it would be really fun but I will have to ask Kylah how to do it as i am unsure how to make one and I would like to learn how to do it.

I found it easy to answer the questions that she had added and some of them I didn't really know so had to research before answering.

I found it hard to take a screenshot that was perfect because the creatures would keep on moving all the time.

Next time I would like to try and make a escape room of my own beacuse it looks really fun and exciting.

Check In

 Today we had to do a check in and we had to tick of all the blog that we did this week for learning so please will you please go and see what I have done this week and you can also go and check what I have blogged further down my blog so please if you really like the one that I have ticked of you can go and see them further on down my blog so please see my slides and then go and see my blogs that I have done this week.

 found it easy to put the screenshot and put it on my slides beacuse I learnt how to add a screenshot to my sides when I was a year 4.

I found it hard to remember what I had done and what I had not done so I had to go on my blog and then see what I did this week.

Next time will try and finished all the tasks for the week.

Pen Pal Letter

 Toady we had a task to write a letter to someone we have missed through lockdown so i have written to one of my best mates called Sebastian. He lives just a few houses away from me so we get to hang out and play with each other all the time when i am not doing homework or sports, even though he comes and supports me at some of my games and trainings.

I am going to write this letter out and drop it into his mailbox for him during our daily walk.

As we have not been able to see each other during lockdown it was been very hard for me as it has been very quiet at our house.

I found it easy to write a letter to him because he is one of my best mates.

I found it hard to keep this short as there is so much we have missed out on in talking to each other.

Next time i would like to try and write short notes to him every day and drop off to his mailbox so he can read and keep in touch that way.

Animal Motion Animation

 Yesterday i created two motion animations and i mentioned i would like to try another one with an animal walking through the garden because i really enjoyed capturing the photos and the process of how it turns out in the end.

The animations you could create can be endless and a lot of fun doing them as the amount of different scenes and items you could use is endless. So if you haven't tried completing a motion animation I would highly recommend you do as its heaps of fun. It is definitely one of the activities i have really enjoyed doing to see the end result because it just WOWS me.

I found it easy to capture each photo between each movement of the animal.

I found it hard to get little as possible of the videoing at the end of the screencastify as it takes time to get the drop down box there.

Next time i would like to try and capture somebody running through a forest.

My Wow factor for this motion animation was how i got the cat to jump from the seat.

Waterfall Motion Animation

 Earley today I made a horse motion animation and  I wrote I would like to try and make a waterfall motion animation. Please look at my video and see what you think of my waterfall motion animation. So please will you please read and then watch my motion animation. It was really fun to try and make the waterfall motion animation it was so much fun. Please keep an eye on my blog because I will be trying to make a motion animation about an animal that  is going through our garden.

I found it hard to position the bowls so that the water will flow through the bowls nicely and it make it look like a waterfall.

Next time I will try to make a different motion animation beacuse I do not want to do the same one again.

Horse Motion Animation

 Today I had a task of create a motion animation. This was a really fun  but challenging task to do. I had so many ideas I could do to create an animation that it was hard to choose just 1.

I have also added some slides to this post to show the process I had to do to complete the task.

It was really interesting that you can turn photos into a motion moving video.

Can you please go and read my slides and watch the stop motion animation and I hope you like it I think it was really cool how I have done it. It was  really fun task.

 

I found it easy to do the setting and take photos beacuse you only have to move the items a little bit at a time between photos.

I found it hard to  get the video uploaded to my blog from the animation site that we were on.

Next time I would like to try a animation to see if I can get the flowing motion like  a waterfall.

My wow factor in this task was how the photos turned into a moving video. 

   

3 Wellbeing Challenges

 Today we had to do 3 wellbeing challenges and we had to roll the dice and it will give you a number and then you go to the sheet and look for the number that you got and then you have to do the challenge that it says you have to do you have to roll the dice at least 3 times and you have to do the challenges that you get. You have to take a photo or video of you doing that task that you got and I got 1,5,3 and me and my sister have the same work so we just work together and we do the tasks that we have each day and for the week.

I found it easy to do the tasks and take a photo at the same time.

I found it hard to choose one of the tasks that were in the numbers that I got.

Next time I will choose some different tasks on the numbers that I get

Covid 19

 Today I was getting really bored so my mum said why don't you make a slides about how to stop covid 19 and further research. It was really interesting researching when it started and how quick it spread. There is a big difference between the first strand recorded and the delta that is now circulating the world and sadly New Zealand.

Go hard go fast I think will be the best outcome to stamp out this new delta variant.

I found it easy to know the protection facts as this is what we are currently doing daily.

I found it hard to decide what important dates to put on my slide about the different levels of lockdown, so I tried to record the dates that you may find interesting.

Next time I would like to try and find out how the virus affects the body.

Ocean pollution

 Today for reading we had to make a slide to help stop ocean pollution. Firstly I went on to the internet to search and read for some facts about ocean pollution before then adding all the facts I remembered that was interesting to my slide. I would really like you to go and read my slides and learn some more about how to stop pollution.

I found it easy to find some facts to write on my slides beacuse there were so many to choose from.

I found it hard to find some good clear images to add to my slides.

Next time I will try to investigate more about plastic breakdown

Native Rata Tree Slides

This week we have been learning to summarise.We have been writing same ideas and we will get a piece of wood and we will write what we write on our slides we will make the title in block letters today we have been making our slides and tomorrow we will be painting it on to the piece of wood. We will be painting our ideas on the pieces of wood and then we will be hammering it in to the ground by the tree that we chose. We had to read 4 books and then watch a video. I hope you like the plant that I have chosen.

I found it hard to find facts about the rata tree beacuse I have never read about the rata tree so I have learnt alot about the rata tree. 

I found it easy to make the slides beacuse I have used slides a lot and I found it easy to put the slides on my blog.

Next time I will choose a different tree beacuse I do want to learn about a lot more tree,s.

Japan Information Slides

 This week for reading we have been learning to skim and scan. We have been finding facts about Japan to add to our Japan information slides.We had to read 3 books and watch 2 videos and then we had to skim and scan through some facts about Japan. The slides that I have added is  about people,food,sports and animals from Japan I had so much fun skimming and scanning for facts. The facts  I found are really interesting.

Skim and scanning means you quickly read the book and scan means you scan for facts,

I found it hard to skim and scan beacuse I have never done it before.

I found it easy to find the fact and add them to my slides.

Next time I will change the color and I will choose different slides beacuse I do not want them to be the same.

Perseus Character profile.

 This week for reading we had to make a slide about Perseus and what he is like. If you look at my slide you will see my character profile. We had to read a story called Medusa - The Quest of Perseus that was linked on our group and also to watch a video about Perseus. I think Perseus was brave if you want to know more then read my slides.

This week we were learning to infer, to infer means the story has clues but not the answer.

I found it easy to find out what Perseus character was like because I read the story and found examples of why I think he is like that.

I found it easy to infer because we have been doing it for a long time in reading and now I have a better understanding of what it means.

Next time I will change the colour because it is all the same colour.

Samoan Language Week

 This week we have been learning about Samoa, because it is Samoan Language week. If you look at my slides you will learn about Samoa, I have been working really hard on the slides and learning a lot about Samoa. I hope you like my slides.

I found it hard to find facts about Samoa because we don't really learn about it. I found it easy to put it on my blog because I have been doing it for a very long time. Next time I will try and make my own slides because I want to add my own facts about Samoa.

New Car

 This week for reading we had to make a car on a slide the car that we had to make it could not be invented and we have been working on this car for a very long time.We were learning to analyse and synthesise which means you have to find information and then write it in your own words.

I found it hard to mack the car because we had to use lots of things.

I found it easy to find the information because  we only had to read a book and find it.

Next time I will make it look more cool because it look plain.

  

Bee Bots

 We have been learning to code and we have done a slide of what our code was we have made a slide I hope you like my slide because this bee bot challenge took me very long time to figure out the code.

I found it hard to find the right code.

I found it easy to put it on my blog because i know how to blog probably.

 Next time i will change the pitcher because it was quick photo.
